Tasting greek food.

We tasted a variety of Greek foods and the olives went down very well!

Robotic club

Building our robotic arms. It takes quite a lot of skill just to understand the instructions and find the correct screws and pieces.

Needs some serious concentration!

Great pictures from our Greek day.

Ancient Greece Research

 Greek facts.
 Soldiers

Soldiers had spears and a sword. They used the sword only  when things where going wrong. The spear was used to stab, slash and throw. The shield were mostly round and made out of wood.

Food
The Greeks didn't have a lot of food. They grew grapes, olives, onions and wheat. They had sheep and goats. The other food was sausage. They caught fish and dried it so it would last longer.

Pottery
The Greeks were very good at pottery so they would trade it. They would decorate their vases too.

The magic box

I will put in the box

The kindness of my friend

The first bark of a dog

The first meow of a cat

I will put in the box

The first smile of my baby cousin

Memories from my smaller brother

The kindness from my mum

I will put in the box

The smell of my favorite meal

The smell of the sea waves

Steam from the hottest volcano

I will put in my box

A roar from a lion

The flutter of a butterfly's wings

The cheer from a crowd

The box is made out of solid gold and steel

With blue spots on the lid and wind in the corner

The hinges are teeth from lions

I will take my box to the top of the tallest mountain

and then fall down onto the golden beach

And open it to see the magic inside
